Does anyone know what the difference for the SM Hunter and SM Whirlwind Hyperios is? Other than one being designed by FW for 28mm 40k and the other by Jervis for E-A! ---------------------------- Can someone who has the FW Imperial Update book fill me in on what the Landraider Helios does? This is what FW has on the site: This is a five-part resin conversion kit for the plastic Land Raider to equip it with a large missile launcher and targetting system. Master model by Will Hayes. The full rules for using the Helios in games of Warhammer 40,000 can be found in Imperial Armour Update |

Hi! I'd be interesting in knowing too. I'm way out of the loop as far as updated Warhammer40k is being shaped. Primarch |

I've posted the question on the EA playtesters board but so far only silence in reply from Jervis... |

Tas, Thanks for posting the question at E-A. I've been tempted too, but I don't make it very often by the E-A playtester's board. Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

Hmmm... Jervis has been and gone on the GW E-A Forum, but has yet to address this issue. ?I think this will end up being a classic case of the two areas of GW not talking to each other. ? IMHO - You can bet that the FW designation Hyperios will end up being the official one because the model is already being advertised, and it's going to be easier to just change some text in the E-A draft rules and remove "Hunter." |

Tas, I'd put my money on your version of things. Helios or Hunter, what does everyone think? Shabbat Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

G/W will make the Hunter and F/W will make the Hyperios. ? It follows their pattern, do the most illogical and uneccessary... As long as the artist/model maker is happy. ? ![]() |

The new hobby shop (funnily enough called Hobby Monkey) had a copy of "Imperial Armor - Update" (IA-Update) so I took a look through it. One of the things I noticed (not in "IA - Update" though) was that the Black Library has a campaign history book coming out for Armageddon as well as the new Imperial Armor - Compilation book. It's massive. Anyone seen it? Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

The local store has this book in and I was most UN-impressed. Based on their previous efforts I thought this book was not as good. I had thought to pick one up but did not once I looked through it. Dafrca. |

Dafrca, Quote (MaksimSmelchak @ 28 2003 June,22:34) If you look on the Black Library site, you can see previews of the new Armageddon History / Scenario book. It looks very cool. The local store has this book, Armageddon History Book, in and I was most UN-impressed. Based on their previous efforts I thought this book was not as good.
