Great stuff. In the shot of the ferals, what was that round landing pad made out of? |

Great looking armies. The terrain is especially impressive! Glad to see it getting some love. |

The legs are 4 plastic shot glasses, the main pad is the base of a plastic paint brush holding stand (the top and the struts were made in to another landing pad elsewhere on the same table, will post pictures tomorrow), central details is a spool wheels from old cassette tape. Tiny coloured beads for landing lights, hazard strips are just inkjet printed paper cut and stuck on. It was originally part of my siege of terra terrain. |

Thanks Apoc. Where'd you find the paint brush holding stand? |

It was an unwanted gift from well meaning relatives, but i've found the same type for sale on ebay in the US here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mulit-Bin-Org ... 48836b6841 1 stand will make in to 2 landing pads, not bad for £5. Mine were sprayed AP uniform grey, dry-brushed white then tarted up with chalk pastels and transfers. you can see the top half working as a pad here, in the lower right: ![]() |

Thanks. Are they around 20cm in diameter? |

I think it's closer to 15cm, but I can't check as I left most of my terrain with EUK people. Best bet for a size estimate would probably be to check other listings for similar stands. |
