Here's a fun one.

Assault Marines engage a Pylon. It breaks and the Marines choose not to consolidate, staying in base contact. Another formation engages the Pylon.

Do the Assault Marines get supporting fire with their CC? Or just their FF?

They'd get drawn into the combat.

Although I would say that the Pylon doesn't have to move as it is fearless (& can't). The Assault marines as they are not fearless can not stay in the Zone of Control of the Pylon so they in fact have to bounce back out of CC. From comments below

Consolidation moves aren't mandatory though. What's making them leave the ZoC of the Pylon?

Dave, I agree that the Assault Marines do not need to consolidate away from the Pylon.
Consequently, when the Pylon is engaged by a different Marine formation, the Assault Marines are automatically drawn into the combat as Tim says.

This occurs when any Fearless unit chooses not to withdraw from contact after losing a combat, as may well be the case with any of the larger titans.

I agree, there is no requirement for the assault marines to consolidate away and in a subsequent assault they would fight again as if contacted by a countercharge and drawn in to the combat
