Can a unit claim the vehicle cover bonus (the -1 to hit penalty) from being in base to base contact with enemy vehicles? There's one situation were this can actually happen you assault a formation. And then it (or another formation from the defending side uses overwatch fire. The shooting comes after a move so first the attackers move, they might then move into base to base contact with defending vehicles. -Erik |

I dont think the rules stipulate friendly or enemy vehicles, we certainly play that you can gain cover from touching enemy vehicles It could also happen if a fearless war engine refuses to withdraw after losing an engagement and another formation shoots at the engaging formation |
