I think the massive army list compilation used a shared unit datafex for each main faction, so you could collect it from there.
As to the actual models, I gave up trying to trace them a long time ago

I have started a project which should (if completed) include all my 6mm chaos stuff and a good deal of turned imperials, some of which would be proxies, and I need a spot of help to organise stuff. Q1 Is there a comprehensive list of all Chaos unit types across all Net:EA Chaos armies? I have seen the army lists of course, but was wondering whether a full list of units including all models exists. Will do my own if there isn't. Ideally, extending to units included in Netepic Gold which are not listed in Net:EA, for completeness' sake. I will post a few other queries as they come up, a typical one being: what do you suggest I use this proxy (pic would be provided) model for? |

As for the models - I am lucky enough to be old enough to have most, albeit not all, models; but I tend to favour conversions and proxies, so here as an example is question 2: Q2 What do I use this as? Note the 6mm flamer in the central hole, he's the demon behid the engine

For red corsairs … if you think it could fly/be put on a flight stand i recon that's a great harbinger bomber. If it has to be ground based then whichever size titan takes your fancy. Other option is brass scorpion, but that looks far too big for DC2 no voids. For black legion i'd have said death wheel or decimator. |

Now you've done it Apoc instead of working on my noise marines I went down to the dungeon (where I store unmade models) and found something I can use for a Harbinger. Trouble is it's big! 28cm long......And to make things worse I found a smaller beastie which can be a Hell Talon. But I need two, so I have this other model..... I decided to give them a flavour, so probably the Harbinger will be a very unusual Nurgle model, whilst the two Talons will probably go to Slaanesh and Tzeentch. Khorne gets the fighters of course. They are definitely not BFG designs, although they appear similar The not-Vipers have a very different engine design, with a cluster of thrusters at the rear and no external sign of an engine housing; and the flat thingy in the middle which is so reminiscent of a Cylon fighter had a turret I removed. But those slats are very Cylonesque, and for the non-purist they could very easily represent some generation of Vipers and Cylons. The models is that they are no longer in production. I'm referring to size, not design mate. A BFG fury interceptor is stated to be around 5 times as long as a Thunderbolt. In epic scale they'd be huge on the table, much like the giant 28cm model noted above. [pedantic mode off] Love seeing those old minis though. Thanks for posting them. ANd then I myself mentioned BFG to turn this confusion to chaos - which is appropriate!
