| Post subject: | Space Marine Land Raiders vs Chaos Land Raiders |
Why are Space Marine Land Raiders essentially 100 point seach (4 for 400) when Chaos ones are 75 points each (which can be bought in groups of 4-8)? Looking at the Rulebook/Black Legion list here. They look lke they are the same stat-wise. |

The benefit of They Shall Known No Fear special rule increases their and all SM vehicles relative to their Chaos cousins. |

(I thought it was 350, has it changed again?) That makes the difference a mere 25 points. Are people taking Chaos land Raiders? I see plenty of Predator formations to boost activation count. /fredmans |

I often take a 2 land raider+2 predator formation with black legion |

They were considerably overcosted in the rulebook lists but are 325 in the community rebalanced lists in the tournament pack - http://www.net-armageddon.org/page/rules SM vehicles generally are more expensive than CSM ones due to ATSKNF. Chaos ones are cheaper there too at 75 points each in a variable mixed size Pred/LR formation, so cheaper for 4. |
