Ok, got your mission here (and it seems pretty cool, actually...)
Quote:
Deployment: Place an objective marker in the center of the table. This represents the meeting place. Each player then places an objective marker (representing the player's home base) at least 18" from the center of the table and at least 30" from another player's home base. To determine base placing order, each player rolls a D6 - highest places first, followed by other players in order of their rolls. Each player places an HQ within 6" of their base camp.
Using the same order, players place their units within 12" of their camp, and more than 24" away from enemy units.
Objective: The central meeting place marker and player objectives must be controlled. The player controlling the most Objective markers wins.
Special Rules: Confusion - The armies are unprepared for battle. All units roll a D6 - those that roll a 4+ can act normally. Those that fail cannot act until the second turn (though they will fight normally if assaulted by an enemy.)
Three player rules - Assaults cannot be launched against ongoing combats, so three-way close combat is not possible.
Shooting into close combat - A player may shoot into an assault that does not include his own units. Nominate the target unit as normal. Having rolled to hit, you will need to determine which unit you sctually strike. For each hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ you hit the target unit, any other result means the target's opponents were hit.
Obviously, it will take some tweaking - especially distances and the "Shooting into Close Combat" rule, but I think it seems like a pretty fun mission. I also think that you'd have to tweak your points value - three 3000 point armies on one table is going to be awfully tight. Shooting into close combat seems especially interesting...
