Those metal Stompas are fairly common on ebay, expect to pay around £2-£6 for them. I've got quite a few of them but unfortunately none of them are for sale/trade.

I'm sure I have vague recollections of some kind of siege Titan from somewhere...

Maybe with some kind of eagles head battering ram weapon on an arm? I could of course be inventing the whole thing...

OK completed up to WD179. Nothing.
I really found the attached mixed titan drawing from 179 very interesting

Hi!

We're in the same boat then. I know I've seen it, but where? No clue.

Lylekelm, Citadel Journal is not a bad thought. I have them too, but in storage.

Great picture. Always one of my favourite titans.
This is the closest I got to it.

Hi!

Was that picture supposed to be a "proto-Imperator" or was this the "siege titan" concept? I remember the picture well, but could never figure out what it was supposed to represent.

Given the scale with the human next to it, its too small for an Imperator, so if its warlord size, is this concept closer to the one we are trying to figure out in the original post picture?

The location and configuration of the carapace is certainly closer to the original posters pic as well as in the depicted art.

By the way, Nice conversion Lylekelm!

Thoughts?

I think it was meant to be an Emperor class Titan, perhaps a Warmonger, which was originally supposed to be a smaller Emperor Titan, just as a Reaver is a smaller battle titan.

I always thought that was just concept art for the Warlord titans that got used as filler in the Adeptus Titanicus book near the section discussing Emperor titans.
A lot of the configurations in AT only had 2 weapons, and the early models look to me like the carapace weapons were add-ons.

That art dates back to the Adeptus Titanicus era, did they mention Imperators and Warmingers then? I thought they were a SM/TL invention?

It was conjecture on your part that the forward facing carapace titan might be purely a siege titan, rather than a class of titan that could be outfitted as many types. Given it's built in metal base it seems likely to be an even older prototype titan model, before the metal mark 0 was done and obviously flexible (as the guns in the similar looking art aren't especially siegey).

FW have mentioned possible plans to introduce more Titan types after the Warlord, commenting there were always meant to be other types than what we knew about.

I think we could do with a better photo. People probably snapped photos without realising it was rare. Anyone care to post up a copy and pasted threads on a few forums titled along the lines of 'HH Weekender mystery Epic Titan - photos?' Giving the existing photo and mentioning us Epic veterans are seeking better photo(s) of it. I can't right now as I'm on a bus to a club to play games of epic today.

Emperor Titans (and Psi-Titans) are mentioned in the AT rules.

Like I said, it looks like the one on pg. 5 of Adeptus Titanicus ...

Lovely titan but Its completely different from the siege titan pictured on page 1 of this thread.
Check out the difference on the shoulders, legs and the toes where they meet the base.
I was hoping someone else attended the show and took photos.

Random thought, but could it possibly be a 3 up concept model for the Horus Heresy board game?

http://collegiatitanica.blogspot.co.uk/ ... minis.html

The picture towards the bottom of the page compares it to a Mk1 Warlord which looks roughly 3 times the size of the model from the board game.

Also lylekelm were you selling those Titans on eBay recently as I saw some that looked the same as those but with a sifferent colour scheme up for sale?
