Hi All,

Would anyone be able to point me towards a word version of the Epic Rules Compendium? I can see that the PDF was originally created in word and then converted but converting it back in a neat format is beyond my skills and I'd like a word version to tinker with (I'll reformat the document from the messy conversion I have but would prefer to spend my time doing something else!).

Many thanks.

Do you mean the 2012 Compendium of army lists? Or the rules Compendium from a few years before that? The latter is controversial and very out of date and shouldn't be used. Use the 2013 tournament pack instead for the current rules and approved army lists.

Why do you especially want a word version? Dave produces the army list compendium and tournament pack so you could try asking him.

Thanks Glyn. I'm looking for an editable version of the main rulebook so it's the Rules Compendium I'm after (I think I found v2.0). I'd like a word version as I want to work up a World War II version of the rules (not an original idea I know!) and a word doc would allow me to add/remove material as I go.

Can I ask what was controversial about the rules compendium? It looks like a fiarly straight version of the standard rules + FAQ but I haven't looked very closely yet. Looking at the Tournament rules you link to I think that will make an evern better place to start.

It included a lot of test rule changes in the main rules, which were later retracted.

Thanks Zombocom, I'll avoid it then and look at the Tournament set. :)
