will be interesting to see whether the plastics suffer the same fate, presumably they cost much less to produce than metal and they're still making minis in plastic for their other ranges... ? O_o

I'm at a dilemma now. I need a couple of bits from the orc character pack to finish off my command stands- two or three mega nobs would have been Ideal, but I have put off buying anything else from GW as the prices are horrendous, especially so for the character packs.

But putting a rush order in with GW seems like playing in to their hands if they are washing their hands with epic- people panic buying will give them a nice lump sum of cash and liquidate the stock for them- better then just melting it back down and reselling it, I guess!


I would have liked another orkasaurus as well as that may well be my favorite miniature of all time, I'm so glad my other half pick one up last Christmas for me- I have just been put off building it as Im too scared it wont look anything like the one I have in my inspiration folder!

Roll on the day some one decides to make Space orcs part of their 6mm range (hint hint EW, microworlds etc... )

And yet, I started one as I thought I was weird for NOT having one. Started it as I thought one day epic might disappear completely and didn't want to be with out any reference material when I was the last one left with orcs to paint!

The news comes as no surprise, but I'm not going to be tempted into going on a last minute splurge. I don't play anywhere near often enough any more to be able to justify the amount of money I'd have to spend.

This finally puts the nail in the coffin of any plans I had to update my armies properly for EA, but it's not the end of the world. At least I still have a large collection of models from Epic's heyday.
