Simple question for you kind folks today. If a drop pod attacks a war engine how many attacks does it get? I remember reading somewhere that its treated similarly to BP attacks, but can't find where. Going by the main rules, 1 attack per unit, I'm assuming it only gets one. |

Yes, that is correct. The death wind would just be one attack. Perhaps you are confusing the drop pod death wind attack with the orbital bombardment that precedes it? |

even if it's treated like a BP attack, such an attack only gets extra hits on war engines if the centre of the template is over the war engine, the centre of a deathwind will only ever be over the drop pod as they have to be 5cm from an enemy unit |

Aye, it was just discussion I'd seen on here somewhere ages ago, must just have been spitballing of ideas. It made sense in my mind, after all it isn't just one pod that the marker represents. Thanks for answering guys, have a game between AMTL & Space Marines tonight and just wanted to clarify. |
