hi guys! I'm an old time epic player, new to ea. If anyone's interested, I started creating data files for battlescribe (free army list editor app for iOS and android). All epicuk marine and guard lists done so far. Repository here (install battlescribe, click 'manage data', enter this URL then click 'update data'): http://epicscribe.site44.com/index.bsi |

Is your data based on the NetEA army lists? I just downloaded the app today |

Got the all and the data. Any chance you can add the unit numbers (ie an SM assault formation had 6 units and 3 rhinos) |

Why not use the existing online Epic Army Builder? It's free, has all the armies extensively checked, lets you save lists and it's browser based so works on anything (including my Symbian mobile, so presumably Android and iOS too). |

The web builder is very handy, but saving the lists for future use involves storing the URLs somewhere (text file, bookmarks folder?) instead of having a list of saved rosters. Also, on a touchscreen it's surprisingly easy to unintentionally delete a formation you've spent time tweaking. ![]() |

Battlescribe is a decent little app. There is nothing wrong with the online army lists other than I don't always have Internet access ![]() |

I've had a quick look and it's fairly easy to add unit profiles and weapon profiles in the catalogue editor, it's just a lot of grunt data entry work. However I can't see a way to display the weapon profiles as part of the unit profile. So you'd end up something like the below, with the weapons for the detachment being shown below the unit profiles: Code: +++ No Name (225pts) +++ +++ 0pt SM: Codex Astartes IJW Roster (Epic)) +++ Selections: SM: Codex Astartes IJW (Epic) Selections: + Detachments + (225pts) * Assault Marines (225pts) Vindicator (50pts) Profile Summary: Name Type Speed ArmourClose CombatFire Fight Notes Ref Assault Marines Inf 30cm 4+ 3+ 5+ Vindicator AV 25cm 4+ 6+ 4+Demolisher Name RangeFire Power Ref Demolisher 30cmAP3+/AT4+ Ignore Cover Created with BattleScribe |

Interesting. I guess it possible to add unit numbers in the same way? |

What is the list builder that is being discussed? Army Builder (Lone Wold Developments), BattleScribe, or ArmyForge? How other than the actial army forge website "report a bug" option, do I report somethings that are not working with the list on ArmyForge list (not allowing commissars error says nax[0], not allowing 1 mortar company every 3000 points error says max [0], not allowing support drop sentinels 1 every 1000 points error says max [0] and the list also has the prices set incorrectly, as the final version of the list version 1.2. |
