Yeah, I thought about blast markers, but, like you said, the format makes it difficult. At an inch per marker, you'd fill up a lot of space.
Of course, an easy way around that would be to create BMs with numbers (1,2,3,4,5) on them, then you could mix and match as needed. I don't know how many would be needed though - obviously, you don't want to get unwieldy with the amount of tokens you'd have to cart around.
Yeah I had thought along those same lines as well. Turns into a huge deal with have enough markers, like you said. Perhaps the idea of BM holder ala Litko might be something someone here getting into 3D modeling (there's quite a few posts recently on that topic) might want to give a stab at? Seems a pretty attainable first real project for someone (let's be honest, trying to create the next war engine proxy isn't probably something to tackle from the get-go
)
