Also When in fire fight, you dont count the -1 to hit for enemeys on cover? they just get the cover save?

Hi Rules questions that have come up: Can a unit on overwatch shoot at a unit that is air assaulting them? can you air assault through a scout screen to get at a target behind? .ie. ordinatus with chosen screen. Cheers Alex |

There is a subtle but important distinction with OW on Air assaults (and planetfalling) in that the OW shooting is made after disembarkation, while for a normal ground move it can be taken either before or after disembarkation. (This is because flying and planetfall are not deemed 'normal' movement, so do not trigger OW) |

New question!!!! Can a supreme commander who is broken still let a formation re-roll one failed action test? There has been some dissagreement. one side saying he is 'still technicaly on the table' and the others saying 'he has better things to do...like running' Thanks Alex |

Correct, no -1 for cover. Additionally attackers never receive any cover saves in an engagement. Also, being broken in Epic isn't the same as being broken in 40K. It's more of an orderly retreat, the fm finding the space it needs to re-organise, not a full on flight/panic. The initial panic is represented by the hackdown hits from the engagement result. Those units may not neccessarily be dead, just scattered and no longer combat effective, much the same as when broken units come under fire and lose extra units. |

New question. In the EpicUK Black Legion list, what initiative rating are titans? are they 2 the entire game? or can they receive the +1 Factions initiative modifier? I assume they do get it as the wording states, "Each formation in a Black Legion army is part of a faction that owes allegiance to either one of the gods of Chaos or to Chaos Undivided." at first i assumed this was refering to the BL core Formation. But then at the bottom it counts out units that are not BL Core Formations by saying: "This modifier only applies to formations that are on the battlefield, aircraft, spaceships or other formations off table never benefit from this bonus." So does the formation wording refer to all formations in the BL Army List (excluding Space ships and Navy units) or, does this mean only BL Core and Support formations? If it does mean titans as well, what are the reasons for a player to mark titans? as this has no effect on their stat lines and they cannot summon daemons? Just mussing  Thanks Alex |

In the Black Legion list the Titans aren't marked so would be 1+ all the time. In the legion-specific lists they are marked, but the list won't allow competing gods anyway so they'll still be 1+ for not having hated units nearby. |
