As my friends and I are a few months into playing epic now we are starting to think about enlarging our collection past a marine and a guard army. The hope was to build p some other cheap armies, preferably ones that could use multiple lists, for when we wanted a bit of variation. I've been dabbling away on eBay and now have a small collection of Eldar, Orks, Chaos and some (too many) Knights.
I'm not quite sure where is the right section to post the, as its on three different armies, posting in any of the NetEA development/races folders seemed wrong. Please move me if I'm squatting in the wrong place.
First up are the eldar. The picture below shows the miniatures we have on the left (there is a nightspinner missing, but we have it) and on the right are some miniatures hopefully in the post on their way. I'm planning on making a webgate.
My little Epic experience tells me this is a rubbish army. Many formations are too small to use (nightspinners, aircraft etc), or too big (but not big enough to split in two). Would anyone mind advising on what they think would be the smallest/cheapest or easiest to obtain units that would me this a viable secondary army?
I'll post pictures of the chaos and orks when I get them all based.
