Post subject: | Question: Coherency with artillery using emplacements |
If I have a unit of artillery using gun emplacements as their upgrade (vice a prime mover), is unit cohesion from the gun model or the emplacement model? The reason I ask is because with a prime mover model (Trojan) I could extend the line further between the guns using the Trojans as "extenders" since they are part of the unit. |

Coherency is measured from the guns. You could extend the line with Trojans, but you'd lose the Cover Save without the Emplacements. In most cases the Emplacements are a better bet, I've found. |

I haven't measured them yet, but it looks like they'll be sitting almost on top of each other. |

It probably wont' matter, but it's worth keeping in mind that the emplacements have to be in coherency when you set them up as well. |

Oh you're using the FW emplacements. That makes more sense. Yeah, having Emplcements with a width of more than 50mm + width of the model could be problematic. Not sure how I'd correct it. |

I guess I'll play around with it. Worst case scenario, I'll have to make my own. |

If you need to make some, I may have a usable solution: ![]() |

Those are casts of the original, which was hand made. |
