Post subject:  Intro games with Eldar

I'm introducing a new player to E:A tomorrow evening here in London (see my sig for club details). He'll be playing against somebody who knows the rules but can use a refresher. The only army I can loan at the moment is Eldar (nids and knights still with zombocom after Bristol). What would be a good Eldar build for a newbie to use? This will be a 3k GTS game and I was thinking of having a little bit of everything: assaulty stuff, WEs, aircraft, mix of AVs and Inf. Any suggestions?

Something like this?

Avatar [0]
Wraithgate [50]

Aspect warhost, Wave Serpents, Autarch, Exarch [600]
Aspect warhost, 2x Exarch [350]
Guardian warhost, a few hvy weapons, wraithguard [300]
Guardian warhost, a few hvy weapons, wraithguard [300]

War walkers [200]
Wind riders, a few Vypers [200]
Swords of Vaul (incl a few Firestorms) [250]
Engine of Vaul (eg Scorpion) [250]

Vampire Raider [200]
Nightwings [300]

There's a little of everything (except Titans), and it highlights some of the Eldar strengths - speed, strong assaults, skimmers, webway, etc.

Looks ok. Just remember to stress that Eldar are glass hammers. So if it all goes to pot the player is pre warned that Eldar can collapse in heap and doesn't get disheartened :)

Thanks STM, I'll use that. Maybe replace the Scorpion w/ the indirect-fire one to show how that works.
