I find that most army list reference sheets are lengthy and slow to use.

Does anyone use formation cards for their army as a quick reference for play? I have whipped a couple up today at work as I was a little bored and I think they would help me play the game and access the units stats more easily.

I guess many people here have played a heap of games and know their army stats by rote :)

I mostly use either a Compendium style quickref or memory, but EpicArmyCard.com is a good resource for Space Marine-style cards. Your's are very nice though; I'd probably use them over the more old school style of EpicArmyCard.

Can't see the difference, other than style. You still have to shuffle through the cards so searching through a ref sheet isn't much different.

My idea is to use them on the tabletop behind the formation so the information is retained with the unit as you to go move/shoot with it.

Ahh interesting, I think I would prefer to have the statistics alot larger though, those cards are very nice and are very much like the old ones but the stats are hard to see across a table or even on the same side of the table.

I might peruse them for ideas though to see if I can improve on my version.

thanks for the link! :)

I use reference cards for each of my epic armies. Most of the stats of the units I know, so the cards are more for my opponent.

I prefer to have every stat on a single page of paper (reference sheet) but each to his own really.

Likewise, I grab a highlighter to highlight the lines of whatever I've taken just to speed up finding what I'm looking for... everyone finds their own way of doing stuff :)

Mango, I like your idea. I don't know if I would go out of my way to use them, but I don't think it is any less efficient than a list and it certainly makes it more visually appealing.

I bet if you made up a bunch of them, people would download them.

I use the QRS but as I play more games with cards (Hordes, Malifaux, Dystopian wars) I can see the appeal.

finished the INF marine models and put them in the OP

Props go out to Grandma Wendy for never updating the pic for their SM bike and continuing to have the droopy bolt gun on their website. It must have been like that for over 4 years now surely.

Wow so much added in between classes lol.

They fairly nice looking not my first choice but well done. Do you plan on resizing the Warhound to match the other cards I hope?

Also is there/will be a PDF of all of them for easy of printing?
