Hey people I was convinced scouts dismounted 10cm from their transport but I cannot find anything that says that. The scouts section only talks about distance between formations and ZoC. We are playing Epic rules if that means anything. Cheers |

Dismount is always 5cm. The only time it's different is when Jump Pack troops dismount out of a flyer that's landed, then it's 15cm. |

Don't forget that there are a number of different moves alongside the 'normal' move that is defined against each unit; counter-charge, consolidate and withdrawal are all counted as movement, so for example some scouts that are engaged in FF by an enemy trying to catch them off-guard inside their Rhinos could be in for a shock: The Rhinos can countercharge 10cm, and then the scouts dismount a further 5cm putting them into B-B with the enemy and 4+CC rather than 5+FF. |
