Is the "flamer" type blast template (p. 57) in the EA main book meant to used for the Titan mounted Inferno Gun? It just says that it is to be used in future Epic supplement (yeah! Right.) |

Nope. It just uses a normal Barrage Template (3"). Rules for the Flame Template never did get introduced, and aren't really neccessary anyway. |

The flame template is used by the GREAT UNCLEAN ONE: GREATER DAEMON OF NURGLE in the Official Black Legion and Lost and the Damned lists. It was trialed in earlier versions of the AMTL lists but was dropped after a viable solution for firing multiple Inferno Guns couldn't be reached. |

It's a shame in way- for me I always think of the Inferno Gun is a massive flamer and thus mentally the flame template fits perfectly. Cheers James |

The reason I asked is I saw a similar flame template being used for the inferno gun in an AAR over on the Epic40k forum on this site. |
