Am I right in thinking that a unit can't shoot through (into and out of) a 3cm(~9m) thick area of woodland, but it can shoot 10cm(~30m) into a wood? This doesn't seem right? 30m seems a bit much (especially at longer distances where the distance effectively increases due to the 'elastic' scale), what do others think? |

You can't shot through 1cm of terrain. Its one of those rules that may not exactly make sense, but keeps the game playable. |

You can also look at it from an abstract perspective in that that 3 cm wood might have a dip directly behind it etc so troops. Table tops are flat, battlefields aren't. Woods may be thinner of foliage than others etc <shrug> |
