Hi all. As you may or may not know, Epic: Nemesis is in the works to become a new supplement featuring the Space Wolves and Thousand Sons.
Where it's at...
All the SW unit blurbs and data sheet info has been done; I've gathered a ton of great artwork (Stugmeister has done a bunch of fantastic stuff including that brilliant cover you may have seen on his thread); I've asked Tuff Skull for his awesome Logan Grimnar tutorial (cough Paul cough!)
; at present I am working away on getting all the Space Wolves miniatures painted up and Helge has kindly allowed me to use some of his Thousand Sons units for the 1K Sons unit data sheets pics. However, there a quite a few things that need still to be done and I was wondering if anyone would like to/can help out with the following things at the present time:
Artwork for both Greater and lesser Daemons of Tzeentch - perhaps with Thousand Sons marines Sorceror included in there somewhere??? It can even be one big picture including all if you like. It'll be around a half-page pic in the supp so it will feature nicely
Thousand Sons unit images from the current army list (v5.1) -barring Fire Lord, Doomwing, Flamers, Silver Towers (thanks Helge!).
Any modelling diary etc for a Thousand Sons army. Any pics and info about how you go/went about making units etc for the Sons.
As I lack good digital graphic making ability...
Unit data-sheet graphics - things like the fast attack/hq/troops/heavy support icons they use in the E:A rule book next to the unit blurb. I was hoping to have these be more specific to the two chapters. For example, things like a Scarab, crossed heqa staves, winged scarab (any Egyptian-feel designs) etc for the 1K Sons and others like Wolf-oriented versions of the current Codex icons. Lord Aaron was sorting these out for me but he seems to have gone MIA unfortunately. Crisp, basic line designs will be more than enough as I can always photoshop/colour them to suit etc. Perhaps PM me for the design ideas I have???
A SW Grand Annulus pie-chart image - as it shouldn't be a direct copy of the GW version perhaps one with the Great Company badges and each Wolf Lord's name listed in each wedge. There doesn't seem to be any online listing of which Lord goes with which badge so this will be a first AFAIK.
If anyone is keen to write up a scenario between the 2 chapters that would be very cool. Neal Hunt has already got a couple of ideas on the boil but a couple of others won't hurt. If you wanted to write a little fluff for the scenario that would be cool too.
Anyway, those are the things I'd like to sort out first up. There may be more along the way but these items will definitely help fill out the supp a bit more than it is currently.
