Hi folks, relatively new to the forums. Anyway, was hoping someone could help me identify the contents of this box set, the marines in particular. I'm basically wondering what formations are contained. Thanks. |

Basically, three Land Raider formations, and more Tactical Formations than you'll ever need, plus Rhinos to carry them. |

Thanks for the replies. What I meant in particular was what actual formations, not simply number of models but which kind, were inside. From what you said, Evil and Chaos, I'll have tons of tacticals - conversion o'clock! |

I had that box the first time round. Also note that all the infantry is smaller than the later versions. Personally I wouldn't buy it for the infantry, you do get a good deal of tanks though. |

Smaller? Hmm, that's certainly good to know. How much smaller? |

The general rule is all the infantry from that box have quite long thin legs and a smaller torso. Difference in height for marines is 8mm on the new and 7mm from that box. The orks are pretty close (still long thin legs) and the eldar guardians are very noticeable (the currant eldar guardians if anything are oversized). |
