Something of note for the tau: for firewarrior FMs, the mechanism for taking extra FW/devilfish allows you to take more than 3 upgrades to a FM. In the pdf you're limited to 3 (it's an upgrade rather than a "replace with" as in the builder):

Correction for EUK dark eldar: Kabal syndicate should be able to take +2 warriors for 50pts, upgrade is missing at present

Ahhhh I was looking for it on GitHub after Google code announced closure but couldn't find it. I'll do that in future. Have you thought about setting up the automatic deployment support you can configure? Commits to master could then automatically go onto the site, for example.

If that bypasses myself or adam then you might end up with confusion which has happened before....

Also can I please request that people making changes keep the metadata at the top of the file current!!

And finally please keep the unit Ids in the range of 500-599 or the save list function does not function

On the contrary, it is intended to make things very clear and robust. The way it typically works is someone makes a "pull request", this doesn't change the repository but allows you to review the changes and choose whether to accept them. You or Adam can then approve and merge them. Normally these would be merged into a different branch that doesn't affect the main site, which you then test yourself before merging into the master branch. In this style the master branch is always the stable, tested, working site and you can make significant changes on other branches in parallel. But if you do make mistakes and commit to the wrong branch, you can back them out very quickly of course. You can probably get away with something a bit simpler when it's for a website - ie just review and then merge to master, but back out any changes if you miss something in review.

That's pretty much it. Kyuss will have editorial control of the lists (for each contribution there's a button in github that says 'yes accept these changes' or reject with comment).

I'll look into auto deployment...

@Kyuss, if someone wants the lists to work on, then getting them direct from github is the best way to do that. Then point them at....

The stats for the TP come from miniwars. I can't remember if elsmore put the URL of the json feed in the miniwars thread but if not I'm sure he would clue you in if you PM him. This is something I have thought about for a while (to the extent I made my own builder with stats - just to play with) so I'd be happy to help.

Each unit has an ID in miniwars so if you give each of your existing options unit IDs, and if miniwars is set to allow cross-origin requests, you could load the miniwars JSON in your JS (ie no need to store stats in your own JSON).
