My name is Patrick. I'm fairly new to these forums and Epic A in general. I'm looking into getting a hand full of tactical space marines. I just wanted to ask what is the difference between the old green ones ( the ones that I'm able to get my hands on) and the newer ones. Do the green ones have the shoulder pad edging like on the grey ones? I ask this because the pictures are not close enough for me to make out the details myself.
Thanks for everyones time

Green ones are Mk VI (beakies), grey ones are (generally) Mk VIIs (Eagle Armor (which aren't beakies)).

The Green ones (and the blue ones) do NOT have shoulder edging.

And here's a more base link if you want to explore the range:

The green and blue ones are the ones listed as MKI marines, the grey ones are sometimes the ones listed as MKII marines (but I have some grey mkI's I'm fairly sure...)

It's up to you what you like, but if you are saying to yourself "I can only get my hands on the MKI's" then you aren't trying hard enough. Once I actually watched ebay for a little while and had a bit of a look around the forums I realised that MKII marines are also rediculously easy to come across.

Yep, I've seen the original ones (plus Rhinos and Land Raiders) in blue, green and grey at different times.
