| Well, I drew this with the inclusion of the Deathstrike in the latest 40K Guard Codex, but it holds equally true for Epic. More of these scribbles at Ninjabread every Space-Friday. | |

| Like it! Of course we could have a deep and meaningfull discussion of the nature of the sliding ground scale in Epic when compared to other Sci-fi rule sets in the 40K universe... But it is all a bit silly really! | |

Of course we could have a deep and meaningfull discussion of the nature of the sliding ground scale in Epic when compared to other Sci-fi rule sets in the 40K universe... But it is all a bit silly really! My favorite weirdness came about in a somewhat recent game with Fortis. A squad of Terminators charged into combat with my Leman Russ formation. The Deathstrikes on overwatch had clear LOS. Nothing else on the opposing side was a real threat, so I fired. Two huge intercontinental ballistic missiles. Into 10 terminators in base contact with an MBT. Talk about pinpoint precision. Even without warheads, these things should have totalled the tank. Morgan Vening | |

| That's funny. The same argument could be made far artillery in general, of course. | |

| Indeed Mephiston, but sliding ground scale is too much of a headache to pick holes in. Though I am genuinely interested in illustrating what exactly sliding ground scale means for the sake of educating people. Someone over on Warseer very cleverly pointed out a 40K Guard army can field more Deathstrikes than an Epic one. Hee hee! | |
