So by my best count we've got six confirmed out-of-towners coming down, seven if you include Carrington.  Can we include Carrington? :disagree:  :agree:

3-4 are supposed to be from the locals which means that we've got 9-10; IMO an excellent turn out.

Matt T. is still a possible for us, what's your story when it comes to booking a room or two?

I wouldn't include me yet...

Thel and Kalpesh are going to make it as well.  We're reaching very large numbers here... :agree: I hope y'all are ready for a party.  Can we get any extra table space?

Friday night is Magic: the Gathering in the store and space is pretty much impossible to get.

Sunday is a mystery to me.

I've been informed that there will be half the playing area reserved for us for Saturday the 30th but unfortunately since the store doesn't sell Epic it will be $5 per person to play.  I'm not thrilled about this but the owner is not giving in.

The benefit is...we will have PLENTY of space to play in.  And there is terrain for use - not particularly Epic scaled but hills and such will work regardless.

The other half of the playing area will be some Pokemon event.

You have been warned.

It's annoying but IMO reasonable charge.  Paying also insures that the owner doesn't get fickle and change his/her mind on the available table space.  You have a throng of players inbound from long distances and worse than being minus **** bucks is driving 6 hours and having no table to play on.

Are we allowed to hurl dice at the Pokemon folk?

I'm pretty sure they are used to stray dice.  But watch out for flying cards - those things can leave a really painful papercut.

Since we're ONLY getting nine hours of play time. I would encourage everyone to have a few army lists written up in advance.  A 2000, 3000, and 4000 point list.

Only 9 hours?  What sort of crazy marathon gaming sessions do you PA people run, anyway?  9 hours is a LOT of gaming for me.
