I personally think that Pain's Way and the Sodomites can go hand and hand.

And that will be the last joke of that nature I make.

Today.

Well, you and Ron were slacking on the names and I wasn't about to call us Storm Troopers of Death.  Can you say '80's acid rock throwback'?  We'll come up with some other non-sodomites name by then.

Ugh - three Matts at the same event.  Okay - Mattthemuppett is now Matt(II). MNB is Matt(I) and Carrington is Matt(III).

Matt(II),

There will be room no matter what.  Matt(I) and I might be staying the night or might not be.  Dave, Tim, and Matt(III) will be coming down and be staying the night for sure.

If all three make it, you can fit four to a room.
If Matt(III) doesn't show you'll be able to room with them.
If we spend the night you'll have your choice.

there can never be enough Matts in the world IMO.

thanks for the room update, appreciate that. I was going to bring a sleeping bag and duvet to crash in my car (one of many reasons for buying a wagon) but wanted to avoid getting my ar$e frozen off it at all possible.

As for trades, I'm the epitome of low key. So low key in fact that I've traded a sum total of 4 chaos sprues in 1 yr :) Besides, I don't think anyone but Mosc is interested in 1990's era Eldar...

You might be surprised. I think there are some classic Eldar minis I'm still looking for, except for the awful E40k era Eldar Titans.

Matt III (aka Awesome Matt (not because he's really THAT awesome (I mean he's pretty awesome, 6/10 at least) but because he hangs out with me and I am certainly awesome)) will be joining us.

So all you nancy-boys and sister-kissers better be ready to get soundly thrashed by his IG and or Lamentors. Who knows, maybe he'll even grant you the honor of being smote by the mighty Indestructus II.

If anyone has some spare plastic Marine sergeants or scouts I'd be interested in those.

I'm pretty sure I have some sergeants to spare. Could you bring the bases you have for me?

I'm glad Matt will be joining us.

It is going to be a very fun day.  My plan is to hand out equal numbers of chits (some type of poker chip probably) to the Epic 'teams' where each team can do with them as they see fit.  For example, if Dave from the CT Pansies gets into a game with Robert from the disorderlies, they each could bet X number of chits on the win.  At the end of the game, the winner takes the chits and the loser scrapes together what's left of his pride.

At the end of the day, whichever team has the most chits takes the Epic Trophy home.

This way there is no tournament games that exclude the non-team players and we're not held to any formal format or even a particular type of game.  It's whatever the players agree on and large teams won't be able to dominate small teams.  It also makes bookkeeping extraordinarily easy for me.

Don't forget "blouse-wearin' poodle-walkers"

I must say - not being from CT I object to the team name "CT pansies" on at least one point. I'm from Massachusetts; heck, Dave lives here too, even though he's from newyorkachusetts... I'd prefer a more honorable title, even something like "the massholes". "Diamond Dave" should get on the ball and come up with a team name, IMO, perhaps reflecting our proud New England roots... since we're all about PC and inclusion up here [they have a plane-crash emoticon, but not a puking one?]

Perhaps a good DE name would be the "Kabal of the Purple Nurple" if you haven't settled on one yet.

I agree, there can never be too many Matts.

aka "Matt III" aka "awesome Matt"

Let's get it right, Mosc. That would be the New England Pansies. Unless Carrington can join us, I'll be the only one from CT.

EDIT: I see Matt be me to it. "Massholes" would be fine if I were from Massachusetts.

Well we could always bust out some of the old college intramural classics:

In One Ear and Out Your Mom
Off Constantly (if you don't get it, think of what the team who beat us would say)

Or something more game related:

The High Rollers
d6 Veterans
Strategy 6
Off-board Reserves
The NE Garrison

And of course, there's always:
The Adeptus Ineptus
