Vassal Version history
Original - From the now defunct website
v1.1.1 - Necrons and Tau added in Finland
v1.1.2 - Ulthwe Eldar and Tau Barracuda added in America
v1.1.3 - Salamanders and high rolling added in India
v1.1.4 - Tyranids and Chaos Undivided, Khorne, Slanesh and Tzeentch
v1.1.5 - Nurgle, Dark Angels, some fixes
v1.1.6 - Deployment overlays added as best that old lptops can do
v1.1.7 - Fortifications, some DE
v1.1.8 - Whitescars
v1.1.9 - Black Templars
v1.1.10 - More Eldar

Current Missing units (please say if you notice more)
Dark Eldar - Infantry and Vehicles
Chaos - Some, Titans etc
Tyranids - Lots
Tau - Manta, Orca, Tigershark, A-10, Tetra
Eldar - Vampire, Bomber, Warlock, Phantom, Revants, SHT's, Firestorm

If anyone can draw stuff in the same style thats missing thats even better!

Alternatively taking overhead pics of models next to existing vassal models (the 4th edition Land Raider is great) on very plain even backgrounds is fine too.

So compare Games Workshop with Privateer Press. GW kill vassal, PP official support the vassal mod.

Chris, can I have 1.1.2 back as I didn't realise I had to add a whole load of info with each model, so when I used them last night I couldn't delete, copy or rotate them. Doh!

Also, the falcons are ENORMOUS - bigger than a Baneblade. Can I resize them simply by changing the properties of the PNG file (like shrinking a jpg) or is there some other trickery to it? In addition, it'd be really nice to add bases to the infantry as they're insanely easy to lose site of, particularly in cover (which I guess is pretty representative of reality). Morgan kept asking me where my rangers had gone and sometimes I couldn't find them without selecting a swathe of the board :)

oh that's neat, thought there was something like that. thanks for doing the other bits too (or whoever did do them), it was really cool to finally say "no, those aren't Ogryns, they're Wraithguard" or similar. I'll be online regularly during the week - real life (in particular a irritating car problem) have got in the way this weekend :)

Did yu get my pm Rasta?

It seems someone out there has tried to add deployment zone overlays in vassal, though discover the full table overlay killed their laptop so they had to be done in 3 parts.

Incidentally shift click selects terrain if you want to change/move/delete it. The overlays and objective markers are terrain incidentally.

Also more stuff has been added.

TRC, thank you for all the work that you are putting into this project.

I will try and get you some Cult Daemon Engines this weekend (hopefully I can find painted ones)

Lesser Brass Scorpion (only one I had made and painted)
Slaanesh Questor
Tzeentch Silver Tower
Slaanesh Subjugator
Tower of Skulls

Extras because they were there
Greater Daemon (Tzeentch)
Greater Daemon (Nurgle)
Angron (added him as he was kinda painted)

I am sure other people may have better painted ones, but these were what I had. Hope they are of some help.   :agree:
