Greetings! With the NetEA Army Book project nearing completion, I decided it was time for me to turn my hand back to work on EPIC: Total War. Let October be declared the Month of Total War!!! Here's a new scenario, based on one out of the old Speed Freaks .pdf, but genericized and tightened up a bit. I'm still iffy on the scoring... would be great if it could be converted to some kind of "at least 2 out of 5 goals" type of thing, but I haven't figured out anything good for that yet. So, take a look, and get ready for WAR!!!

What do Contingents do again? It's not listed among the special rules in Total War summary page. |

It can be found as a special rule insert in the Ambush scenario. In the actual book, all the scenario special rules will be together in their own section. |

If a defender gets a transport off the other side of the board, and it happens to have exited via the road, do they get a total of 2 points per transport, or 3 (for fulfilling the top 2 conditions)? Also, spelling error: "Victory Conditions", 2nd line: should read, "a D6. If both..." Lastly, Scenario Special Rules should likely all be grouped together on the page, so that Alpha isnt separated so much from Delta and Omega. Looks like a fun one! |

Those conditions aren't cumulative, you either get one or the other and I'll clarify that in later drafts. Quote: Lastly, Scenario Special Rules should likely all be grouped together on the page, so that Alpha isnt separated so much from Delta and Omega. The "Alpha Level" of a scenario is always the basic rules that apply to the scenario, including all deployment and victory conditions; it's all the "core" stuff of a scenario. The Delta and Omega levels add more difficulties and challenges and are unnecessary for basic play; all that will be made much clearer in the full book. Quote: Looks like a fun one! It was! |
