Hello TacCommers, I've just put together a carrying case for my epic armies using trays from Kaiser Rushforth and I'm so chuffed with it I thought I'd share a couple of pictures here in case anyone else is after something similar (I've also sent some pics to KR who seem interested in putting together an Epic specific set of trays). In total I've managed to fit in around 4000 points of Guard and a similar amount of Marines with a little space to spare. Some pics:

Tray One: (10mm deep slots)

Tray Two (as above)

Trays Three, Four, Five (2 trays are 20mm deep, the other is 54mm (ish) for titans etc):

Looks good! I just took delivery of some of these and they do seem to be great. Plus, K_R are really a great company: always very helpful, with fast shipping. Daryl has been really good in the past with helping me design the best loadout for cases.

Those look great. I've been thinking of doing something similar with Battle Foam
I bought a case for my 40K stuff, and it is bada$$.  I've been meaning to have them cut me foam for my epic armies.  They do custum laser cutting, so any shape you give them, they can cut.  And the cases themselves seem to be excellent.

Nice, looks like a great storage system :)

I use the same cases.

We were able to get a 10% discount through The Last Alliance for a while. They make a great storage solution and an easy transport system. My Tau take up one box and my Marines/Guard are on the other.

I've had my cardboard cases for a couple of years now and they are holding up well.
:agree:

In Carry-Case News today...

I've just heard from KR that the Kaiser (the range of bags that they sell to carry their cases) is coming out in black next month. As an undercover-geek who shies away from cases with massive 'GEEK' logos this strikes me as excellent news (the current blue ones are just too bright for my tastes).
