With the recent forgeworld debacle, our percieved lack of support from GW and other forum members showing how well this community can do at turfing out home grown scratch built care packages for other epic players I would like to offer my services in the sculpting department.

It's been something i've been meaning to learn and fiddle with for a long time now and i have been thinking about creating my own scratchbuilt Feral Ork figures and currently it would seem that both Tyranid and Necron miniatures are out there with the potential for casting.
As such I would like to ask peoples perception of the viability for continued production of 6mm epic figures (i'm not a fan of proxies...) and what exactly they would like to see; i'm open to suggestions here!

I'd place a priority on Vraksian Renegade infantry.

Up to now we have only 4 complete armies (IG, Orks, SM and Eldar) - as Tau are, as it seems gone for good. Personally I would like to have the missing pieces to get another complete army. As we already have some Necron and Chaos scratchbuilds ongoing and the basic infantry is still available from GW I would like to see some Chaos or Necron models (e.g. Necron infantry, Chaos Greater Deamons or things like that ...

Chaos Greater Deamons

The Warmaster range provides *fantastic* Chaos Greater Daemons!

Sounds like a cool idea :) Going from not having sculpted, to sculpting a model good enough to produce, might be challenging and take a while though. I've tried a little sculpting, but am rubbish at it (need to try to again and get to a basic standard for my Chaos and Exodite armies).

Filling in the gaps left after the Chaos plastics would be my top priority and should have decent appeal:
Chaos Obliterators are an obvious gap and should be a bit more forgiving than some to scupt with their organic mutated bits.
Chaos Raptors then would be good
Possibly Possessed? - the flavour-text for Possessed in W40k talks about how good they are as trackers and scouts and it occurred to me the other day how perfect and distinctive these would be to represent a Forlorn Hope unit.

I've got a load already, but might be interested in some Feral Orks.

Still Tau. Come on the whole range is dying!

Hmmm, you are right. However, which ones would be the correct size for E:A?

In this case I second the Daemon Engine point (or other non-available chaos stuff)

Depends how bothered by scale you are with the Warmaster ones, some are photographed in MoKs army and painting thread for examples.

New-style Daeamon Engines have just been made already, look for the threads. Existing Tau could surely be naughtily 'cloned' directly by someone with resin capabilities if anyone wanted to no? I'd rather see new models.

Considering that Greater Daemons are DC3 War Engines in EPIC:A, the four Greater Daemons produced for Warmaster are the appropriate size.

This is tricky because people want to sculpt what they want to sculpt, and despite people no doubt earning a bit of cash from their designs eventually (and that's without putting a price on their time!), we can't tell people want to design.

I agree it would be really great to work together towards completing an army, Chaos being the obvious choice. Most vehicles could be adapted from the SM ones, and a few daemon engines and new greater daemons would round the range off fantastically [OT's petit crabbe being a brilliant start].  Some jump pack troopers would be lovely for example, but I'm not sure exactly what's missing from the range.

This is all coming from a non-sculpting freeloader, so please take it with a pinch of salt!

I'm on the "finish a range" bandwagon.  Chaos daemon engines (all kinds), Obliterators, Chaos Hounds and Spawn would finish out BL, L&D, and give most of the variants everything they would need as well.

After that, I'd say pick an army and repeat.  There are lots of good candidates.

What Neal said. I personally would like to see some augmented Ad Mech infantry and Praetorians.
