At least FW should have quite a good picture of what models are popular and wanted by now for the upcoming review.

Got the majority of my order today - everything great apart from lucius baneblades missing heavy bolters, wrong pattern reaver sent and my battlewagons have missing parts (rollcages, main weapons and some gunners)

Will have to call first thing Monday.

Definitely call'm ! That's a lot of missing stuff ! :oo: Sounds like they are in the "Dunkirk" mode !  And I wouldn't have much faith in their "Epic Winter Review" ... The market just does not justify items with low to NO ROI ... :sigh:

They (WF) told me that we (the epic community) can influence (hope so) what they will keep and what not to keep! by sending them @ mail what we would like to buy if/when epic stuff is back on stock!
Also we can send them suggestions how to repack them! (model wise)
So do we make a poll what we would like to keep & what we can lose without crying!?

I guess requesting that they expand the range is just out of the question at this point?

If you want that, well, I sent Tony C (head of Forgeworld) a couple of Epic scale Malcador tanks a few days ago, along with pictures of the other Malcador tanks I've designed. I pitched him the idea of trying out a small release such as the five Malcador class tanks in order to gauge the practicality of releasing new Epic models (I'd like to be able to offer him other community created models in the future if a limited release went well).

Is it worth a concerted group emailing, saying :

"I would like to buy:
- XX Malcador Tanks
- XX Malcador Defender Tanks
- XX Malcador Annihilator Tanks
- X Valdors
- X Minotaurs"?

With the model on the table in front of them, and a clear demand for the models... ?

Not a tank company or two? :))

I envision the standard Malcadors being about as prominent in any army list that uses them as Leman Russ are in the Steel Legion army list, with the Minotaurs being about as prominent as Basilisks and Valdors being somewhat more common than Shadowswords.

Interesting - a poll would probably the best way. Do you think it'd be possible to influence the return of things like the harridan or roads etc?

Also, repacking would be a good idea. An idea for a package could be:

3 Trojans, 3 earthshaker platforms and 3 carriages all together or a pack of wave serpents with all the turret options?

Harridan, no. Not without a supporting Tyranid range of models.

Roads, I also doubt it, terrain has never sold well for Forgeworld.

Thought as much. I'd assume the same would go for those space marines they have sculpted?

Tony C doesn't like Epic infantry.

I got to give you credit E&C ... For trying to entice F/W with more excellent models ...      However, I'd rather get my stuff from "independents" ... :sam: 8v)  But as usual ... I'll take what I can get !! :vD

I would rather Forgeworld produced them, even if I personally made a loss on the project (due to money already invested in having Bronzes / multiple prototypes made).
