Does free planetfall work like planetfall in every respect except the requirement of a spacecraft? In effect, if I have multiple formations that can use free planetfalling... Do they have to arrive on the same turn? Do they all have to use the same pre-plotted landing zone? Just curious (and without the rulesbook at hand) /Fredmans |

Each free planetfall formation can plot separately, just like normal planetfall. Since there is no spacecraft activation to land them, they currently activate to planetfall. In effect, planetfall placement becomes part of their action, almost as if it were "free" movement at the beginning of the formation's action. |

Thanks, that cleared things up considerably. Just curious, what armies use it? I do recall Elysians doing it, but what other armies? /Fredmans |
