Looking on GW's Specialist Games site, I can find miniatures for normal Land Speeders but not Typhoon or Tornado variants. Does anyone know if they are/have been available? The Tornado is a fairly simple weapons swap so could be managed with some plastic rod, etc., but if I need to go making Typhoons, anybody know of a suitable source of missile pods for a Typhoon? |

The blister comes with enough pieces to make 5 Land Speeders, or 3 Land Speeders, 1 Typhoon and 1 Tornado, IIRC. There may be enough pieces to make more than one Tornado I can't remember. |

Just phoned them, apparently they only do the normal Land Speeder. Oh well, out with the plasticard. |

That's a miscommunication between Phone Sales and Packaging department then. It would be *more* difficult for them to package with just standard Land Speeders, as the casting sprues contain all the parts for the various Speeder types... I highly doubt they've got a guy "snipping off the extras" so they can package them just a Speeders. Realize that *most* GW sales trolls don't have *any* experience with EPIC. |

I recently bought 6 packs. You get 5 Speeders, 3 Multi-meltas, 1 set of Typhoon launchers, 2 Heavy Bolters, an Assault Cannon and a Heavy Flamer in each. |

IIRC there's actually a different hull for the Land Speeder Typhoon that has attachment points for the missile pods. The mail order troll has no idea what he's talking about. |

Yep, 3 regular hulls, 1 hull for the Tornado with a hole on the bottom. and 1 hull for the Typhoon with a hole on the bottom and mounting points for the missile pods. |

Well if anyone has any Typhoon missile pods going spare let me know. It looks like I need 4 pairs. Otherwise it's LOTS of cocktail sticks getting their ends chopped off and glued on. (MY EYES, MY EYES!) |

This came up few months aho when store staff told us it was just 5 land speeders per blister - I bought a pack anyway and its still 3 LS, 1 typhoon, 1 tornado and a spare flamer per pack. (as of 2 weeks ago anyway) |

Wasn't there a proxy suggestion for a skimmer that looked almost exactly like the Typhoon? Cav or something? |
