I'm sure this one has been debated before, but is it possible to move a unit so that it is in base-to-base contact with two other units? This perhaps might be done to force units with high FF values to use their low CC values instead. |

From 1.12.3 "A charging unit that enters a zone of control must move into base contact with the nearest enemy whose zone of control has been entered" So you would have to enter the ZOC of both units and be equidistant to do this by the rules. |

Is this, in practive, rare/impossible to achieve? |

Technically impossible, unless you have an electron microscope to check that they really are equidistant. ![]() In practice, a unit may only charge one other unit, unless it is a War Engine. |

We play it if a unit has enough movement to skirt ZoC and then enter them simultaneously, it can do it. In practice, though, you can rarely get more than 1 or 2 units to do so before both ZoC and physical constraints stop it from happening. Infiltrator units, however, ignore ZoC in assaults and can move freely to contact multiple units, as long as the models have the movement and can physically fit. It is definitely feasible for them. |

That's one of the things that makes Hormagaunts so great. Double up on the high FF stuff (like a Russes) and really take the enemy's ability to hit you down. |
