With Webway Portals, where just one formation is allowed to use the Webway Portal each turn, if the selected formation fails its activation test, can you select a different formation to use the Webway Portal that turn? |

I would say No - though the failed formation can still enter, but not perform an action, with a BM I believe |

Quote: (Steve54 @ 18 Apr. 2009, 13:00 ) I would say No - though the failed formation can still enter, but not perform an action, with a BM I believe This was debated several times in the past. I believe the conclusion reached by the previous ERC was that it was the formation that was testing, not the Wraithgate itself so you can try again with another formation. The formation that failed to activate would take a "Hold" action, so it could make a single move through the Wraithgate with a BM as Steve says (thus preventing another formation from entering later on), or it could stay put and remove the BM, allowing the player to try to bring a different formation through the gate later in the turn. |

Thanks for your input, guys. We've been playing the option Ginger describes as this struck us as the most reasonable, so I'm gratified we came to the same conclusion as the ERC felllas. ![]() |
