so, i was thinking about putting a speed freak warband formation in to a landa and one thing bothered me. the boyz and nobs with that formation get a free trukk. can i just leave these trukks at home if i come on board with this formation or do i still have to take these (to fulfill the requirement for having 30+ speed for my units) and if i do what transport slots will they take in the landa? Thanks in advance |

I don't think this is legal, based on the way the list is written. The Landas seem more like a way to move things like Blitz Brigades and Warbike Outriders around then drop Warbands in the Speed Freek list. I could be wrong though. |

From the way the list is currently written, you would have to keep the trukks for the 30cm move. If you want to be technical, the Landa can't carry trukks and there is no note in the army list as to what they would "count as." Nonetheless, I would say they take up the same space as any other LV - 2 spaces. If you made the Nob a Nob Bike to save space you could do something like: Nob (1 space) 3 bikes (3 spaces) 2 boyz/trukks (6 spaces) But that's still giving up a bike stand and a boy/trukk. Basically, it's still not going to work all that well. You could avoid the question entirely by loading up the Landas with bikes. That's generally considered the optimum loadout for the Freeks. |
