The point of the 10cm intermingle was that scouts could do that. Then 10cm intermingle was proven to be very annoying on scouts point of view, that was put up instead.

The 10cm intermingle FAQ was in the pdfs and not in rulebook. That FAQ entry is no longer in the 2008 pdf.

The FAQ answer that it did was removed in the 2008 FAQ's. I've been playing with normal 5cm intermingle for scouts.

That FAQ entry is no longer in the 2008 pdf. Yeah, I noted what mephiston said about the errata being removed, so I deleted my response you just quoted there. Personally I'm glad it's gone. It just wasn't clear that it had done. I just wanted to know what the score was and I was scrabbling around in the scouts sections of the FAQ and Errata to see what the score was.

It was one of those odd occasions were the rules were actually defined in the FAQ. I'm glad its gone.
