Like the title says.... the pdf can be found on the official website. We were looking at it today and were thinking about giving it a go... anyone else had similar thoughts? |

There is a yahoo group dedicated to people who, for various reasons, must play Wargames alone. I think it was the "Lone Wolves" was the name. Made for some interesting reading. dafrca |

One of the easiest ways to play solo is to build yourself some simple rules by which to operate both sides. This means you are more impartial when making a tactical choice. This is, in effect, similar to the old 2nd Ed Robot rules with priorities for units and kind of like the old Nid instincts. I used to have different types for different armies and units to reflect their characteristics. Ie Guard could be (off the top of my head) Target in range - Sustained Fire, enemy in asaault raneg and > half BMs - withdraw etc. Although subject to my needs as commander of both red and blue, this does give a good guide and stops you being a bit 'one sided' |

Hi, Forgive me if you don't find this funny but: I started wondering today: What's actually left of Epic Armageddon as of now? I mean - what's left that can be taken away and have an impact on the game's future? Nothing! That's very very bright actually! I mean - you got nothing, so what do you've got to lose? NOTHING! ![]() (I don't remember the exact quote of mr. Gilliam). The only thing I could find that would have some was perhaps The Mail Order store... but then again - most people buy their cars, grunts, ships on ebay anyhow, right? Or Forge World for that matter. So as I see it - things can only go up from here. ps. Do not mention the Feral Orks. |
