Post subject:  Army Champions coming over?
Well, I finally got my first order of E-A from GW- US! :laugh:

- 2 Rule Books,
- 1 pack of Land Raiders,
- 1 pack of Rhinos,
- 1 pack of Whirlwind/Hunters,
- 1 pack of Predators,
- 1 pack of L/Russ Co.,
- 1 pack of IG Arty,
- 1 pack of Stormtroops and
- A blister of Ork Scorchas & Buggies! ?

All very neat and most appear to have molded out well! Rhinos and Raiders appear a bit larger then the previous releases, but all in all I'm satisfied. I'll be preordering my next bunch tomorrow, based on the list in new issue of W/D, I just got today also. I'll check on my Fan Mag too! It has been an Epic Day! :;):

Sadly, L4 is not the only one. When I ordered the EA rulebook, GW sent me two by mistake; and charged me for both (no freebies there). The really sad bit is that I kept both, didn't complain, didn't return one and demand $ back - I couldn't decide which of the two to keep. :{
So one lives on a bedroom shelf, with LOTR and Warmaster rules, and the other in the study, with BFG rules and The Generals' Compendium...
Sadder and sadder still, I also have two Warmaster rulebooks... bought one, got given the second, couldn't part with it. The small 'uns have a big hold on me.
I think I need help.... :(

Daf - The Stormtroopers look great, very good detail !                                           Chris - one book for me and one for my gaming buddy ... he just picked it up minutes ago !  And I live in a one floor house ! :;):                                    Vanvlak - No, I ordered 2 and paid for 2 ... but my buddy just paid me for his ! :D                                                     Mojarn - I still have to send pics of my SM1, SM2 etc., etc. !  Another project still very much in the planning stage ...   :)                                      And I just called G/W US this morning and preordered my second lift for mid-June !  The war continues !   :laugh:

L4, in the pics the Stormtroopers look like regular IG troopers.  Are the models similiar or are they a different sculpt?

The Stormtroopers hasn't got the coat worn by the Valhalllan/Steel legion guardsmen. I agree that the pose is very similar but it is definitely a different sculpt. The heads and backpacks are also slightly different. Lovely models!

Yup, they are new sculpts as Warmaster pointed out. I have pics of the stand from the book as a WIP that gives more angles on the models. You can see them Here in my galleries  :cool:

Yes, Warmaster and Tuff are correct ... very nice figures ! And Primarch, I'm still working on some E40K and even some SM2 !  :o   Plus Epic Forge World and various terrain pieces !  So I'm pacing myself ! :;):

Pick up the pace soldier!  :)

Its a moot point now that most of the "first wave" is out, so ordering anywhere is the same right now. However once another army is available its perhaps better to jump the gun and get it from the UK.
