Well I couldn't sleep last night so I started coming up with detailed building assault rules for epic (what else was I surpose to do, count sheep?).

they are still very crude, but I think with some polishing up they could be quite fun to play.

all I have to do know is find a way to make buildings easily.

EDIT: version 1.1 is a few posts down, it is mainly a different writen style

Hey very cool ideas if somewhat complicated. But you have warned us about this :D

Designing an intact looking multi storey building where you are able to place units inside would be somewhat difficult i guess :)

Some very neat ideas here!

Looking forward to further development!

Thanks guys.  I am trying to make the rules less complicate dsounding, but somewhere between my brainz and the keyboard the idea disappears.

Then when I do get them down on paper they are more complicated than they seem.  I might do a bullet point version to explain what each unit can and can't do.

And BL I was going to cheat and have floor plans next to the table to see where the units go, it would mean you can't have more than half a dozen building being used at once though.

Right version 1.1 is now done.  Very little change compared to V1.  The rules have been shuffled around a bit and made into bullet pints to make them easier to follow (I hope)

Major changes are:
units outside of a building chose which level to fire at, instead of just raking itwith fire, or can chose to fire at the building itself

The attacking player can now chose to end combat if he has no units left in the bilding.

I have also added data sheets for the follwong three buildings
10 storey block of flats
5 storey parking garage
imperial manor house

I'll leave the V1.0 in the top post for the time being so that the two version can be compared
