Hi Mates,

my friend had space marines and he couldnt get a handel on the eldar,, is was a massaker.
What can the SM player do to controll the pop-up?
Imperial Guard has Hydras, for over watch, but waht can the space marine do to defend himself? he just got shot to pieces!

He should definitely use Thunderhawk Gunships packed full of Devestator or Assault Marines, to increase his own manueverability.

The Eldar have a pulceing anti-air Artillery with a lanz,, can he still use the thunder ship?

He should kill the AA with Whirlwinds or Teleporting Terminators... then send in the Thunderhawks! :D

I would say "go with the drop pod full of assault marines", as it worked against squats and their goliath megacannons. Unfortunately my experience with SM is really small.
