Not being up to date with the latesly goings on with Epic I wondered if one of ur knowledgable bods would fill me in on this matter. Ive noticed GW have renamed the ole BattleFortress to GunFortress and made a completely new BattleFortress that looks more like the FW BattleWagon. So wats it all about? I resently bought a FW 40K scale BaneBlade to convert into a simular model I have in epic scale. Will this now be classed as a GunFortress? Wats the difference between the two? |

Well the Battlefortress is more of a giant troop carrier with a few gunz on it. The Gunfortress is more what you'd classify as a super heavy tank like those used by the IG. They sacrifice some of their troop capacity for more gunz. Nont a whole lot of difference stats wise though. Cheers!

Thanx.. thats kinda wat I thought. Now I know I can class my BaneBlade as either a Looted BaneBlade or a GunFortress depending on how much converting I do. "Though a 40K GunFortress needs to be VDRed which is always costly points wize  "Thanx  |

Battle = transport Gun = firepower And for size: Wagon = AV Fortress = WE So... Vehicle transport firepower ========================== AV battlewagon gunwagon WE battlefortress gunfortress |
