What system do people use with objectives? If you use some "terrain" like oli pumps etc. do they count as terrain? (i.e. cover, LOS interpretation)... Can objectives put to say like inside buildings, forcing Eldar player to use their Blitz objective as Portal or have no change to move vehicle units (buildings as impassable terrain) through the portal? |

I can't quote the exact rule, but the rules do say that objective markers do NOT count as terrain in any way. As for placing them in buildings, I'm not sure, but I don't see why you couldn't. |

(rpr @ Aug. 31 2007,13:40) QUOTE What system do people use with objectives? If you use some "terrain" like oli pumps etc. do they count as terrain? (i.e. cover, LOS interpretation)... I use 40mm bases with "significant" site/objects on them like the little supply dumps/observation posts that GW supplies in their Objectives blister. Or other things like a Tyranid spawning pool made out of bits and green stuff or a "lost relic" for the Imperials. All are relatively small pieces and can be placed anywhere as they don't count as scenery/terrain. One could just use "chits" of some kind, but we like to fight over comm relays or "Dat Important Rok!" instead. I've tried to make 3 "army specific" Objectives for each army, and then some generic ones as well. Here's a pic of my pre-painted Tyranid Objectives and some completed Necron ones. |
