The Epic: Raiders Artwork Competition ended with 55 submissions - a healthy amount of images to comb over. But here we have the Top 10 and we'd like your vote to help us determine a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner. They are hosted at the new wiki page (thanks, CS!) Pay careful attention to the Entry number when voting. Originally the developers (Scarik, Xisor, myself, Corey, and Evil & Chaos) were going to simply vote on these things and hand out the vote. However there were some real-life issues that came up that delayed voting as well as the narrow differences in the scoring that we came up with. Simply put, the difference between 1st place and 10th place wasn't big enough to make it a hands down victory for one person or another. With things dragging out for 2 weeks we felt it would do the participants a disservice to wait any longer. So with that said, please vote for your favorite piece of artwork. I will close the polls on Sunday at 12pm Eastern Time (New York time). 1st Place will go to the one with the most votes. 2nd Place will go to the second most votes. 3rd Place will go to the third most votes. PRIZE GRAB BAG ? 1 Phalanx (30 models worth) of Epic scale 6mm Necron Warriors (the old Chaos Androids), which will be unbased and unpainted. ? Epic scale Pylon scratch built by Necron Champ Corey himself. ? Epic scale scratch built Necron Warbarque - the newest edition to the Necron list. ? Epic scale ?Beatle Back? Imperial Titan, fully painted by Ben Skinner. ? $25 US in purchases from Games Workshop 1st Place Winner will have his choice of two prizes. In addition, the winner will receive a printed, bound copy of the Epic: Raiders supplement. 2nd Place Runner Up will receive one prize of his or her choice (after the 1st place winner chooses) and will receive a printed, bound copy of the Epic: Raiders supplement. 3rd Place Runner Up will receive one prize of his or her choice (after the 1st & 2nd place winners choose). In addition the 3rd place winner will receive a printed, bound copy of the Epic: Raiders supplement. Originally we were going to put the winner on the cover, but I decided to pull this from the competition. Some artwork, while very good, will not make a good cover. It seemed unfair to narrow the competition to this style of artwork so that is why I changed it. A tremendous thank you to everyone who volunteered their artistic vision to our project. NOTE: Please do not post here until after the polls have closed. The names of the artists will be disclosed AFTER the competition has concluded. |

I'd prefer to keep things silent till Sunday if you don't mind. I'd like people to judge the artwork and pick what they'd like, not what they think will win. The reason why is because it is for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and I want to be able to see a natural range of votes like we have now.
