Quote (MaksimSmelchak @ 02 2005 Aug.,16:11) | I am one of the few who does have a miniature Necron army (Mostly choas androids and proxies... ) and have been sculpting a Necron Monolith pyramid. | The reason I'm looking for up to date Necron news is that I've been getting local old-time EPIC players into E:A, and one of them is planning on using his Squats for "We're back from the dead" Necrons.
Yes it's silly, but it's getting an oldtimer into the new game! *laugh*

I'm also keen to know what is happening with the necrons since i am slowly converting an army from orcs and other bits and bobs.. don't worry they look ok from a distance.
If anyone has a copy of a newer list that the one available from the specialist games site or would like some help playtesting by all means let me know. I have been playing the game for a bit and have a few forces but haven't contributed to forums since the orginal playtest forum. I'm really impresed by the amount of work some people are putting into this.
Cheers ORTRON

Surely we can start some ideas in his absence though?
My thoughts so far are:
Immortals: Can see the gauss blasters and cannon increased to 15cm/30cm AP4+/AT6+? since they is quite better than the gauss flayer at mowing down infantry, but i admit their AT is still lacking. And heavy destroyers upped to AT3+? considering how powerful they are in 40k at hurting tanks. Range i am happy with on all accounts.
Formations: Possible variable size formations for flayed ones, destroyers and obelisk recon? 2 reasons, a little more flexiblility for an army that has little, sort of, and since most people have to scratch build these its a bit easier for them? say unit size 4-8?
On that note, i'm treating destroyers similar to bikes 2-4 models a stand?
Well thats a start. Have a good day
