Hi!
GW never learns from past mistakes with epic. When epic 40k ws released they "purged" the market eliminating all the SM/TL stock from GW stores and even buying back the stuff from retailers. As the support dried up people got....nothing.
I wouldn't mind this move if everything was released in one year. But having seen the release schedule...........

I'd does kina suck but I figure its motivated by economics and storage space, their probably not selling many of those old bits and why pay out to keep them active and available when they've got a whole new edition of the minatures on the way...

Under all circumstances I'll make an order for various bits'n'pieces just to be on the safe side. The recent development of Epic has been a bit depressing...

I must admit to being a little bit in shock about this! I cant believe that even GW would simply stop selling Epic stuff from previous versions. Surely now that the new game is released, there will be more demand for the old stuff?
This is a real shame.

Hi!
CS, they did the same thing for epic 40k. I guess they want to obligate players to nuy the newer stuff.
Last time all it did was create a buying frenzy before the deadline and even more exagerated prices on auction sites.
It did not increase sale.
Go figure.

Sometimes it pays to be an old fart. I've got enough IG, SM, Orks, Squats and Eldar to game for a long time. Not anywhere near a primarchload, mind you, but still enough to field a sizable army of each. After I've painted them, that is.

Yup ! Being an Old Timer, I've got 9 Epic Armies and only will buy the new E:A in small quantities for ascetics. And I can always use another det. of "new" Rhinos, Raiders etc. Plus there are some actual "new" models just not new versions, too ! So we will have to wait and see ... if E:A flys !

I've been messing about making some easy printing sheets for Orks and Speed Freeks (i.e. no background colour). I made them in OpenOffice.Org 's Spreadsheet then exported them as PDF. If anyone could use them you can find them here:

EDIT: I forgot to add that I updated them with the corrections in the errata too.

What's the errata? has the official, downloadable Speed Freeks army list been updated?
Also, if you have any comments about the speed freek units or formations, feel free to write them down in the E:A editable unit guide (links below):

You can find the errata here. There isn't anything in the errata about the SF's yet though.

I run a business and if our customers want it we sell it ... but Epic has such a small worldwide following (probably less than 10,000 ? 
), it is not a priority for them ...
