Hi!
I don't mean your conversion, I mean a standard model/kit of say any armored vehicle in 1/35 (like the ones you acquired to make the conversion). Perhaps they vary by brand, but the major ones will suffice.
Clearer?
Thanks for the help.

Hi Guys,
I was perusing the fluff in my mate's edition of the new IG Codex (Have you seen it? ?There is a pic of a full Regiment in 40k scale...Madness!)
Anyhow...the new 40k lists allows an IG player to take Imperial Cult priests aloing as an insipiring type character. ?As this attribute has already been taken by Chaplains and Commissars, how could we represent an Imperial Preachers on the field?
I am thinking as a Supreme Commander's re-roll can only be used for Initiative tests....the Priest could allow a re-roll for Rally tests ONLY at the end of the turn. ?Thus he brings a unique flavour.
Thoughts?

Thoughts? | Sounds like a neat idea. Havent been playtesting much though, so my vote on that is rather irrelevant.
As for the 40K regiment, it does look great, but unfortunately you wont be seeing it at any shows - its a (rather well done) copy & paste job of a single company and various supporting units overlayed. Does look good though!

..I had a sneking suspicion when I saw the picture that that was what it might be... the ammount of models there would make an extremely respectable Epic army...

Hey! New Rules PDFs areup in the vault. Thistime with corresponding images to the unit stats! Some very nice stuff there; Valkyries, Vultures, Gunwagons and unless my eyes decieves me: STORMTROOPERS! Unfortunately the pic isn't very good but still more than enough to tease! I can't wait to see them up close!
Cheers!

Wow... I'm very impressed, the Vulture looks great and I love the quality of the new art and the presentation in general... Can't wait for the full release!

I have noticed two things. In the data cards for the commander, it just has a banner mounted on a tactical marine. Does this mean the characters aren't going to be on the new sprue? If so that is lame.
The second is the release schedule in the FAQ (nice to see much of my gripes are printed in there! ) that I'll have to wait till 2006 to see Chaos. Guys, I have lost a alot of interest in Epic now, and I doubt I'll really care by 2006. Chances are, I will have moved on to a completely different hobby (as of right now it is hiking and camping. . .).
Anyone see a problem with this?

Yeah. If the new 1 army/year schedule is really on, it's a problem.
But the new minis are cool.

I'm guessing they will include some of the characters (eg librarians + chaplains for SM, commisars for IG) but ditch the command squad supporting guys (techmarines, apothacaries, standard bearers), and just use a stick on banner for captains, IG commanders etc.

As I have said previously, there is nothing wrong with the current sprues. ?As a matter of fact, I think they are excellent. ?The idea that you'll have just enough to make whichever formation isn't really accurate as there are different possibilities and who knows what troop selections each person will make regarding his force.
Instead of retooling all the infantry sprues that should have just updated the plastic warlord. ?I will never win on this but I know I am right.

I have just had a look at the files, as I am looking forward to it a lot now! All those new models!
And, in the Titan Legions section, I believe there is proof that the old reaver is coming back!
Cheers

Indeed Stormseer, I bet you won't get that many new Warhounds though
I wish they would do a metal beetleback...as the plastic one is never coming back into production
Cheers
