Hmm, I actually fear that the Tau list might not get through development because of that... Cause why bother to work on a list if no new players can join to play Tau and use it (of course there might be enough players right now to hold it up and get it finished, but the motivation could die...)

It really seems Epic is not that big money machine for them, which is no wonder i guess. Well, I hope something might come along after that Titan game if it actually sparks new interest. But looking on Aeronautica it does not seem to change much. Well, Aeronautica is a very specialized game, thats for sure and Titans might have a bigger apeal to 40k players, but still this might not change anthing for the better considering Epic.

And my wallet is empty, so perhaps a bit of a wait isn't the worst thing in the world.

I think Justicar of Skunkwerks has some planned.

I tell you what placing order with them over the phone was the most depressing thing I've done in a while.

I was tempted to use the website to order instead last night but so glad I didn't as half the stuff I was after and still listed was no longer in stock.

It felt horrible asking for leman russ executioners only to hear a long intake of breath and a "aaaaaaaahhhhhh I'm afraid we're all out of those". You're then forced to quickly rethink your plan, everything’s gone to pot and so you say the first thing that comes to mind regardless of whether it was what you truly wanted, like "uuuuummmm well do you have vanquishers,.......anything?". From the other end you hear frantic typing on the keyboard and then quietly in the background from elsewhere in the office you hear another operator talking to a customer, "ok so you want epic vanquishers hold on". Now your in a frantic race, willing on my customer support lady in a race she's oblivious to, against some nameless and hapless individual in the same boat as me! After tense moments she comes back on the line "we have 4 packs left", I scream back "give me one, give me one" the reply to which is a much calmer and reassured "ok, so anything else........". And so we start all over again.

On a plus note though, they were very helpful about sorting a problem I had with an existing order and replacement parts are apparently on their way to me now.

I hope everybody got what they were after because from what I heard in the background it sounded like a bit of a free for all, I felt happy to have got away with the £50's worth I was mostly after.
